To visit the Cinque Terre have to leave Tuscany for a day and go to Liguria. The five villages perched on the sea are Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia Vernazza and Monterosso, one more beautiful than the other, take a whole day to see them. You will find many typical restaurants where you can enjoy the breathtaking view by eating trofie with pesto and the famous schiacciata alla genovese. On your return, before returning to the Locanda, stop in Portovenere, it is not part of the 5 Terre circuit but this village overlooking the sea will remain in your heart, believe me.
